Thank you for applying to Motor City Re-Store! This round of applications will be open September 1st to October 1st 2019.  You should apply for the CONSTRUCTION track of this program if you have your signed and sealed construction drawings all ready to go, or quotes from a construction professional on every improvement you propose. This award will get you 50% cashback* on your project!  

 Please complete your application well in advance of the deadline as technical support is limited and unavailable on the last day of submissions.  If you do not submit your application by the deadline you will not be able to use this application for the next round. You will need to start over.   

 We are hoping to collect as much information as possible about your business; if there are any questions you cannot answer, please explain to the best of your ability. We will select finalists based on the following factors:


  1. Eligibility
  2. Vision and plan for the business based on the soundness, completeness, and creativity;
  3. Feasibility of the exterior improvement project including building conditions and cost
  4. Potential for the business and the exterior improvement project to benefit the community; and
  5. Leverage and business owner/building owner investment in the project
      Business owners and their landlords should apply together in one application, and the business owner should be the primary applicant and point of contact at this stage.

  Finalists will be contacted and may be asked to provide additional information in order to receive their matching grant.
  *Business owners that apply with 3 other businesses located on their same block (either side of the street) are eligible for 75% off their project through Motor City Re-Store. List the names of the businesses where indicated in the application to receive this benefit.
